The current of shingled modules is also lower, which results in potential lower resistive losses and lower hot-spot risks. Also, the anti-shading performance is better during the tests. It ensures long term reliable performance for 30 years working time.

Sonnex is also developing N-type shingled modules and module efficiency will be above 22% and compared to PERC modules, the power will be 30-40W higher in the same area. We are planning to release N-type shingled modules in the coming 2022.
